Support organic if you want, but it's difficult to deny that organic produce leads to more food borne illness that non-organic foods. That's what happens when you fertilize with manures.

Organic pesticides are often more toxic than those used on non-organic, GMO foods.

Most organic supporters are vehemently anti-GMO. Ironically, tons of organic foods have had their entire genomes randomly mutated by various chemical and radioactive mutagens, unlike having a single, heavily studied gene change as with GM crops. Also, unlike GM crops the thousands of mutagenically bred plants aren't subjected to safety, allergenicity, and environmental testing.

Organic foods yield less than conventional. These pro-organic "environmentalists" support growing less food on more land.

And spoiler alert: organic food already costs more. However, people are increasingly unwilling to pay more for these foods because organic idealism isn't supported by science.

Zealot 101: ignore the science and claim attacks against your idealistic beliefs are "bullshit." Good day, sir.

You do realize that the certified organic food industry is worth tens of billions and is run by pseudoscience-pushing racketeers, right?

Certified organic crops often use more pesticides than conventional agriculture and utilize many that are far more toxic, like I linked above. GMOs are found to reduce pesticide use by 37%, so purchasing organic is a good way to continue "killing the earth." No wonder scientists aren't fond of organic agriculture but overwhelmingly support conventional agriculture with GMOs.
