OK it is a really long one but I will tell you the short version on May 24, 2017 I went to the emergency room because for the previous week I noticed that my voice was different and I was slightly off balance. I was exhibiting stroke like symptoms. They asked me many questions about if I ever did any drugs. I was honest with them I smoked Heroin and other opiates off tin foil often on for a decade. I never had any health issues until this day. The following day after they reviewed my MRI I was diagnosed with Toxic Acute Progressive Leukoencephalopathy. It is a progressive ternal disease. They said things would get worse rapidly I was given six months. This is me on October 5, 2017 https://youtu.be/Vuz7SfcW8QsYouTube then me mid December 2017 https://youtu.be/gMdn-no9emgYouTube after this I went on hospice I survived this for six months all suffering from locked in syndrome. The entire time I could think see and hear but could not move. I was a prisoner inside my own body for roughly eight months. In July 2018 I begin to gain control of my eyes. I was finally able to blink so I could signal. I have been recovering ever since. I started minor movements in January 2019 same with speech. I started my own recovery YouTube channel. I do feel like I know myself even better. There were times I thought I had to give up and I could not go on but overall I kept fighting to come back
