Oregon occupiers: "These buildings will never, ever return to the federal government" submitted by go1dfish to news

Here's a tip, read the comment section of the article for instant cancer.

Its funny to see so many people who detest police violence begging for the feds to shoot them all down. Its amazing just how psychotic some of these people are as long as the stick is being swung at the right face, in this case a white guy that votes for a different political party than them. I doubt this'll end well for the government. Either they back down and people call them weak or they make Waco 2: electric boogaloo and mass rebellion with a side of public rage happens. Honestly these guys seem genuine and sincere, the Hammonds shouldn't have gotten sentenced twice for the same fucking crime (ie double jeopardy) regardless of the length.

I'm very frustrated with the way things been going as of late, that asinine gun control bill, the calls for censorship, the push to take refugees, and of course the medias war on disagreement. The fact that the same people who are calling these guys terrorists and thugs saw what happened in Baltimore and called it a "protest" should clue you in on modern left wing politics these days. Its not the contents of ones character that matter, its their skin color.

Google's beloved?

they're a datamining botnet hellbent on restricting online freedoms.

Comcast ain't much better but its kind of like comparing a moldy turd to a freshly laid turd, no matter how you look it they're both pieces of shit.

They won't even hold a funeral service for a murder victim because they don't want to hurt the feelings of the murderer?

Way to twist the knife.

A lot are upset with MS as of late here. Who wants to switch to Linux? submitted by ao to technology

Elementary OS?

You mean the OS being made by a team that claim's we're "cheating" when we download for free and "we should feel bad"? They call us thieves but contribute nothing to the downstream and only take from the upstream whilst claiming credit. Elementary OS is just a DE and nothing more.

Use manjaro, you get a lightweight OS that isn't built with spyware like ubuntu.

Volvo Unveils Autonomous Car Design, Set to Hit the Roads by 2017 submitted by ideasware to technology

FearsomeMudcrab 4 points -1 points (+3|-4) ago

Automated cars scare the crap out of me, there's just too many unknowns and something like this just can't make the snap decisions it takes when you're on the road. Lets say you're on a peaceful drive and the car's got it covered, its so quiet that you take a nap. What'll it do if a deer jumps in front of you? What'll happen if you someone rear ends you? What happens if a cop tries to pull you over? Does it have weather predictions? What happens if the roads are slippery, can it compensate?

Where exactly does the automation end and the driver begin? How are lawmakers supposed to figure this shit out? There's a lot of questions no one's worked out yet. The problems with this system aren't the drivers safety, its everyone else's.

FBI to get involved with GGR anons who attempted to spark a SWAT raid on GGHQ BO Acidman submitted by Lurkerfag001 to KotakuInAction

bomb making instructions aren't the same thing as making an explosive.

Explosives are easy to make, making a bomb with the potential to kill a lot of people on the other hand is more complicated. Federal agents like to post detailed instructions on how to make bombs to kill a lot of people in the hopes of roping in potential terrorists. They'll also pose as people who want to make such bombs to rope the smart guys in.

Let me put it this way, a bomb would be the device used in the Boston bombing. An explosive would be a bunch of firecrackers jammed in a beer bottle.
