the Government has exacted the price for that safety in sacrificed freedoms. Once freedoms are surrendered, no government freely returns them.

Ouch but so true...

My local Wal-Mart has been out of meat, and many other products, for over 3 days now. I'm in the Toledo Ohio area. Anyone else? submitted by mmabouncer to news

Shop at another store, perhaps try a more upmarket area to find a store there. Seriously, walmart is probably playing some games with you.

Oh I would love to see that. Thanks, I had no idea.

This was a film I could never forget, very well written and touching and so spiritual in a way... to feel such closeness to characters doesn’t happen often enough imo.

DIE-versity, multiculturalism

I think this is one of the biggest stumbling stones for new people here as they seem to see the whole breed with-your-own type mentality as such a threat to their very diverse existence, which is rather ironic.

Instead of owning the decisions they made in life and understanding the reasoning behind them, it’s best to disregard anything that questions that mindset. Indoctrination is rife and admitting that our uber acceptance of all to just understand our one worded replies, or in my case long-worded waffles, is often hard to realize, but very necessary in our growth to a fuller understanding of things.

I actually recall when I realized the whole world doesn’t think like I do, it was awfully sobering and I had to cringe a bit about myself, but it was okay as it prompted me to be open for learning, observation, discernment and understanding and also forgiving myself for being such an idiot. This still has to happen occasionally, I might add... lol

I cannot stand cultures that copy other Cultures to the point where they loose their own in the process. By all means learn about other cultures, decisions and actions.

Heck teach yourself their skills but definitely do not loose yourself in the process.
