Protip for the uninitiated: the code on the left is John RomeroCarmack's implementation of a Silicon Graphics algorithm for a fast inverse square root function.

The code on the right is a poor implementation of a max(x,y) function which would return 5 if given the same number twice as inputs, and has a double-superfluous double-check. Beyond that, it could be implemented as :

int max(int a, int b)
    return (a > b) ? a : b;

Those are directional microwave antennae.

Likely a backbone or repeater link for a county/municipal communication system. Emergency Services trunk systems frequently use these to allow for communication between departments/sites/jurisdictions.

Usually they’re mounted higher up due to microwave being occluded by the terrain, so I assume that you live in a relatively flat area.

Read more. Actually go to a library and read up on philosophy. You'll probably find it, though you may not recognize it.

Heh. I love my metabolism. I can eat fucking McBeetus four times a week and enough TV dinners to preserve an elephant, but I've only been over 180 once in my life. When I felt my BMI go into that overweight range, I just had to stop drinking so much damn soda and there we go, back to my ideal BMI.

Eat it, fatties!

Am six-foot man

If I told you, it would rob you of your own self discovery and autodidactic enlightenment.

I did not mean to insult you, merely to indicate that you may be more successful in looking in a library rather than a website.

I guarantee you will find the antecedents of our current modern dilemmas. Doing so for one's self is exactly what the image posted is supposed to represent. Unfortunatley, its own author is trapped in an even bigger cave.
