New program in Commiefornia. What could possibly go wrong? submitted by SyriansFuckCorpses to politics

Procedure: An interested Community Host will receive this complete application packet which includes all the necessary documents, agreements, and forms required for enrollment into the program. All of these forms are given up front to provide the potential host with transparency of expectations in order to make an informed decision about being a part of the program. Once a match is agreed upon by host and participant, all required documents are submitted reflecting a move-in date, stipend of $25.00/day and a one-time security deposit of $250.00.

impactjustice.org/impact/homecoming-project/#application

docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe7wf3jeAvMjfSEnpnE-HFwKXgt-eEg5rlDZMf2jz1LHR2Z7g/viewform

25.00*30=$750 per month stipend.

The site seems to be unclear as to whether the ex-con is supposed to pay rent on top of this. Their home page states:

The Homecoming Project provides subsidies to homeowners in exchange for renting a room at an affordable rate to someone returning home from prison.

But then their FAQ states:

If a participant and host build a relationship and decide to extend the rental agreement beyond the subsidy paid by Impact Justice, it is incumbent upon the participant and host to determine a rental arrangement where the participant will directly pay the host. If a participant has secured post-Homecoming housing, he or she can decide to move out of the host’s home at any point, but must give Impact Justice and the host at least two weeks notice before the expected move-out date, to ease transitions in and out of the Project.

Which makes it sound like these people are only being paid $750 per month in rent for the privilege of having an ex-con on their property instead of, I don't know, a regular fucking person who would, based on Alameda County, CA rent estimates, also be paying more in rent.

Unless I'm missing something here, these cucks are literally being paid below market value to be involved in this AIDS-tier program.

Some sites might check the HTTP_REFERER value and--if it is from Google (i.e., you just got to the site and are viewing your first article)--then don't show a paywall.
