I fail to see why he is surprised. His actions caused the intended response.

I have an outfit similar to that. You need to have some height to carry it off, though.

If Grammar Nazis exist, then what are Grammar Jews? submitted by 7p to AskVoat

Annelise 5 points -3 points (+2|-5) ago

A Grammar Jew is a voater whose grammar is poor and who uses words with all the style and panache of Leo Gorcey, Norm Crosby, or Archie Bunker. This voater typically inhabits the various "hate" subverses where they unleash tirades against others using words whose meanings they do not quite understand.

This voater is normally employed IRL in a less than low paying profession or actively underachieving in secondary school.

So what? He's probably also a staunch democrat, too, which is probably the basis for his ban. Get a life.

I pointed out the obvious in response to your loud self-panicking doomsaying and attempts to build something out of nothing. Preceding an airshow by a military flight team, they make numerous flights over and through the demonstration area to gain local familiarty and to agree on the visual references wher certain manuevers will begin or end. These flights occur at a fairly low level. Reference: Living near an airbase that hosted annual airshows.

On the other hand, combat air patrols maintain a fairly high altitude over their designated area, both to stay above the range of most shoulder-launched missiles and to remain out of the flight patterns of any local air traffic (traffic helicopters, civilian prop planes, etc.). The higher altitude also betters their odds against opposing forces aircraft who may enter their area. F-16s are not the weapon of choice for ground support in urban areas. They're too fast and can't carry a big enough load to remain useful. Reference: @grumpy_old_fucker, who's spent more time deployed in hotspots than you've been alive.

You can look up anything I've written here in printed sources published years ago. Also, BTW, the F-16 was state of the art a few decades ago. Now, the AF is struggling to extend their service life another 20 years because the F-35s are neither affordable nor as effective as lockheed-martin's marketing department said they were.

Your ad hominem attack claiming that I hate America is a weak tool wielded by an equally weak mind. I love America and always have. My Father died a Marine and I will always honor him and the Marine Corps.

The only thing you are done with is trying to BS your way out of a lost argument.
