I always thought she was an odd choice. She wasn't particularly bad, but I kept expecting Ser Friendzone to pop up and offer some help.

I thought she was terrible. How is it even possible to say the epic, "Come with me if you want to live" in a monotone voice???

I don't think 5 was terrible. In order of good, IMHO, 2, 1, Sarah Connor Chronicles = 3 = 5, 4.

I agree if you swap 4 and 3. Hated 3, was pretty ok with 4. 5 shouldn't have happened.
I actually don't like 2, but 1... 1 is the definition of the perfect male love story. It's Somewhere in Time, but with killer robots and time travel.
Edit. Somewhere in Time for those who haven't seen it is Christopher Reeves falling in love with a woman in a painting and the idea of her legacy and then traveling back in time via him believing in it to be with her.
There's actually a pretty good argument to be made about Cameron having since the beginning ripping off other people's stories and putting his own spin on it. Which I'm usually ok with.
