It's but a small price to pay for the benefits of enrichment. Benefits such as....such as...increased enrichment..and...multiculturalism?

The only argument you ever hear is about the new food. This is not a good enough reason to get raped and killed.

Wow, I'm just imagining what I can do with all that cultural enrichment... like... I'm so... multicultural now... I think...?

The best part of multiculturalism is that it promotes being multicultural. Can't argue with that. The enrichment is bonus.

History is filled with stories of great empires that opened up their borders to barbarian hordes. It never fails, and those empires are stronger today for it, just ask the emperor of Rome.

That and Germany's liberation plan is to import more terrorists. You know. That kill them with kindness idea that kindergarten teachers use.

The title is misleading

...half of all its soldiers now deployed on military operations

So, I'm sure they have a lot more people who are ready to be deployed if needed.

As the article pointed out, it's likely a political measure meant to assuage the fears of French citizens. Whether these soldiers will actually prevent or even effectively respond to an attack is up for debate. Soldiers are not necessarily trained to be as precise as SWAT teams or SOF, increasingly the likelihood of civilian casualties during a firefight between French soldiers and terrorists.

About a thousand, but only if they're all driving taxis.

The French took the expression, "If you can't beat them, then join them" and simplified it to "Join them so we can avoid any fighting".
