For the women's rights movement it's always been about the money and government power.

In the city most of friend's wives earn more than them and are less likely to get fired and work less dangerous jobs....as if this is not enough

Just quit complaining about it. It's FOR THE CHILDREN! You have to give them everything they want in that case.

/s in case anybody really needs it

This really makes me mad. Because we can see all these idiots on Youtube and Tweeter with their idiotic dictionary definition of feminism. When things like this are happening, they're quiet of course.

"They" are going to start weening women off the child support teat soon so that they have to start relying on a man again and having to be sweet about it.

“Not only will alimony be affected by the proposed legislation, but also timesharing,” Quick said. “The bill is calling for a 50/50 timeshare split. This affects child support payments. More timesharing equals less payments."

Right... Because you'd need less. Also, kudos for not saying "less payments to the woman".

"Regardless if the child is more bonded with one parent over another"

I wonder who you'll say is more bonded...

"or if one parent works longer hours, or if the parent has emotional or substance abuse issues — there will be an equal split."

So, you'd be all for me getting me kids if the mother is addicted to something? No? Huh.

"The kids should have a say in whom they want to live with."

That's something that every parent should ask their kids. It's great bonding.

"And that person should be able to afford their clothing, food and activities."

So, as you say men make more money, you're also saying I should get said kids because I can afford them without help? How gracious and mature of you.

"We must ask ourselves ‘What is in the best interest of the child?’"

Best interest of the child is not to be used like a pawn/meal ticket. This law keeps the kid from being used that way. As much as I dislike Rick Scott, I hope this gets signed.
