Heading to Onslow on the WA coast for 10 days of fishing. Gonna catch some stuff on the offshore reefs and hopefully a barramundi in the rivers. Not camping in tents but staying in a permanent caravan in a caravan park.

Sounds like fun! Anytime outdoors is well spent. I went to Kitimat BC a few years back and spent 2 weeks camping by the river. Fishing for salmon. Went on a charter and caught some halibut, pacific cod, dungeoness crab, and more salmon. It was a great trip. I drove my truck out and buddy drove his motorhome. 4 of us total. Really fun trip. Stayed for free down by the river.

This is the 5th year me and at least 2 other mates have headed north for a few weeks in winter. Had 8 of us last year sinking piss and catching fish which was a good laugh. We have hired a boat the last few years because towing anything 1500k's isn't great fun. Spent 7 hours on the side of the road reapiring a boat trailer one day. All good fun being out in the sunshine though.

I'm heading to Osoyoos next week and want to spend a night or two in Kaninaskis country on the way there. I car camp when on road trips if I can.

I'm probably heading up to the Yukon for an early season trip. No real itinerary yet besides a day 2 survival training thing. Do a mix of car camping and hiking to a spot.

Next will be a week long trip to Jasper. Probably gonna spend 4 nights on the Saturday Night Loop.

I'll be out on near Vancouver in September, so I'll probably do a few nights somewhere on the way there and back.

Other than that, I'll be doing a lot of camper camping near home. A friend lives close to my work, so I'll spend a lot of time there when I'm on shift. Nice spot out in the country.

Which ones? Osoyoos and Kaninaskis? Osoyoos is in southern BC. The lake straddles the border. Kaninaskis is south of Banff. Great places to check out.

Hiking the Black river here in Arizona. 3 days nothing but our packs and fishing rods miles from the nearest road/ human life. The start of a horror film type stuff.

That sounds like a great time. I've only seen to Arizona once. Didn't do much outdoors stuff beside spending a day hiking the Superstition Mountains. I was there just as everything was starting to bloom. I loved it there. Friendly people too.
