Thank you for your valuable insights, and might I say you seem very open minded and objective when it comes to religious discourse and scrutiny. My oh my, the muslim and christian zealots I've come across snub me for "daring" to question.

I do have one more question, what happens after death in Judaism? Do you believe in an afterlife or reincarnation?

Oh, thanks. I try to be objective.

Different sources say different things. The common view is that after a person dies, we get put on trial. After the trial, we receive punishment for our infractions, then get "our place" which depends on the level of merit we have. Then there are others who say were just brought back, but thats a minor opinion, and with less textual support.

What does have the greatest amount of textual support, and is literally a pillar of belief is the resurrection of the dead.
