Morons. Shockingly, fat has a physiological effect of the body. It's more than just an aesthetic. Being the size of 4 people makes treating you a different ballgame. It's almost certainly the cause of your need to go to a doctor and my belief is that this card will work to allow doctors to filter out the crazies without having to figure it out the hard way. Have fun ignoring your burgeoning, obesity related health problems.

I get weighed every single time I walk into a doctor's office. I've been asked if I had an eating disorder(I lost 15 pounds when I stopped drinking soda and was a few pounds underweight). I wasn't offended I was appreciative because it meant my doctor cared! These fat fucks don't want care. They want coddling.

Completely unrelated, but your username is amazing.
I agree, fats want to be lied to and coddled. If they don't want to get better, they shouldn't go to the doctor and waste the doctor's fucking time.

Keep crying, fatty. And when the beetus rots your leg and it becomes septic, we'll start you on an intravenous dose of Vancomycin which, oh, would you look at that, is dosed based on your weight.
Wishing you a happy, evidence-based recovery. <3

It wants to be dosed based on its weight. Just doesn't want to know its weight. Doc should seriously write 2-5p as a note on prescription, based on how many actual people would occupy its weight.

It's a medical malpractice get out of jail free card. Documented proof the patient intentionally and knowingly refused to follow instructions.

As a physician, I would read this and toss it back at the whale, then tell them the truth. No physician gives two shits about this nonsense and will do what they are trained to do. P.S. that symbol is the caduceus, which is the symbol of thievery. The symbol of medicine is a single snake wrapped around a rod, called the rod of Asclepius. So I would chastise that person double.

I am a registered nurse. If a patient handed this to me I would probably just give a sarcastic smile, then go mock this idiot behind their back in the break room or something. I'd probably also make photocopies of the card and post them around the unit for everyone to laugh at.

If you were my nurse I would love you forever

Mockery is exactly the right response. The only card I can think of that's more annoying is the "I am calling you out...don't play 20 questions with me" one.

Also as a physician, I would just give it back to them and say "I don't think we are a good match for each other. You may be better off looking for another doctor." 10,000 College complaints about bullshit stopped in their tracks right there.

But it's evidence-based!
