You know what will be next? A Live News Crawl where your taskbar used to be. I could see some use in that before I'd see any use in Live Tiles.

I know a lot of people that like tiles on the desktop, but I know a total of ZERO who like it in their fucking start bar and menu! For the love of God MS, get rid of Metro... NO ONE LIKES IT.

Why the fuck would I use an OS that serves me ads in the start menu? This is the shit that pissed us all off over Ubuntu a while back. The OS should stop being an open door to the internet. The OS should minimize its internet footprint, not expand it.

And I just had to deal with a Win10 install. Everything, and I mean everything I hate about Apple is in Win10. Garbage.

So they will use that as an advertisement tool that you can't get away from.

This is their way of making money. They're trying to create cash flow by selling software instead of constantly creating it.

Live tiles make only sense (or any type of widget) if you don't have windows or a browser open that covers your desktop.

The only time I see my desktop is when I restart my computer, all other times my 3 monitors have a crap load of stuff open.

Meh. One guy has no use for them. I know folks who do. Good thing is that they are optional. I have not a single live tile. My friend has several.
