The abuse from her father aside, it is hard to sympathize with someone that could have easily avoided all of the online abuse had she simply decided not to turn her computer on.

Of course she's now a landwhale tumblrina with strange colored hair and a special snowflake that goes by "preferred pronouns".

As soon as I saw the "preferred pronouns" it kinda ruined the rest of the article for me and couldn't take it seriously

She should have got off the internet instead of becoming a Tumblrina. That was probably her biggest mistake. While in foster care, she should have gotten psychiatric help for whatever the source of the attention-seeking was. If her internet fame was really going to have such a detrimental effect on her, she could have changed her name and no one would have recognized her. So, remind me; who are we blaming for all her problems exactly?

I wonder if in the future, use of Tumblr will be a symptom listed in psychiatric handbooks for physicians.

Media/dailymail: the evil Hacker 4chan.

The internet: Her family life, lack of help (in socity) for such cases.

Tumblr: White men.

She was deeply mentally ill before "the internet" responded to her pleas for attention. She obviously hasn't gotten any of the help she so desperately needs and is now fully immersed in her private psychotic delusions.

It's a little sad, and a lot scary - because she will probably become extremely violent and make many false claims against people that attempt to defend themselves against her. But the only thing "the internet" had to do with this story was publicizing it.

Several factors are apparently responsible; her nutcase of a father, and the pro-tranny agenda making her think it's legitimate to think she's a boy. I wouldn't say the Internet has failed her, more like society as a whole.

Jessi now goes by the name Damien and prefers to be refereed to with they/them pronouns

And she didnt learn shit. Or she is a masochistic attention whore who enjoyed being a meme (why else would she step into the spotlight again)

Damien is still online, they're active on the blogging website Tumblr where they feel they have finally found a positive community.

Confirms mycalims, she didnt changed a bit, only now she can keep going fullreatred on tumblr like she did with 11.

Nowadays, people are a lot more understanding that, yes, there’s a person behind that photo, there’s a person behind that video.

And it wasnt differnt back in 2000, but back then people were either tough enough to handele their shit and/or smart enough to not put compromising things for the whole world to see.

She was a dipshit kid for doing it then. But she's a fucking retard for doing it now. Seriously the Internet has a 2 day attention span, why keep putting yourself in the sights.
