Smart people don't have to become stupid while their opportunities are being given to subversive incompetents who've been trained to gargle corporate jargon like cud. They will starve in obsolescence and become extinct. Only remorseless sociopaths devoid of substance are allowed to prosper. Idiocy and incompetence have been in high fashion and celebrated for some time now. This is a safe comfort to the power that these fools depend on.
“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.” ― Isaac Asimov

Slow down there, Harrison Bergeron.

Came for this, leaving satisfied.
These morons don't understand that "equality" means EQUAL OPPORTUNITY, not equal outcomes. The difference between opportunities and outcomes is too complex for their feeble minds, apparently.

What they want is an equality of outcomes.

yes, and that's why we oppose them.

there is no such thing as equality outside of math. lets say me and you were going to get ice cream and we wanted to be equal. should we get the same flavor even though my favorite flavor is A and your favorite flavor is B? how much should we get? the same amount of ice cream, or perhaps an amount that is the same percentage of our body weight? what if i am lactose intolerant? should we both pay the same amount for this ice cream even though we have different incomes? what if one of us has more expenses than the other?
these questions cannot be answered in any objective way. there is no such thing as equal. we can strive to be fair, but we can never reach "equality".
