I'm one of them, and aside from some old triple A titles that I haven't been able to purchase for the nostalgia trip I wanted to enjoy, I haven't felt I have missed out much.

Certainly the benefits are outweighing the drawbacks, for me at least.

Yea I don't find I'm missing much. Plus I actually have control of my PC.

Civ, Dota 2, CS:GO, Starcraft 2 (with wine) all work well on linux. I don't really care much about whatever I'm missing out on, as long as my main go-to games work. Gotta look at what's already there, rather than what isn't. Giving up a few things is a minor compromise to make in exchange for leaving microsoft behind.

Even if the drawbacks outweighed the benefits, it is still incredibly helpful to legitimizing Linux as a game platform whenever anybody fully switches as detailed in another submission.
