Caution possible opposing viewpoint, proceed with caution if you choose to read on:

I like Trump as a meme, so if he gets elected I'll survive. I also fully support the democratic process. We see rigging and dirty tricks used to buff up a nominee and it's disgusting.

A big part of me is curious to see what the U.S. establishment government is hiding or afraid of losing if Trump is elected.

That said, maybe the opposition is like me a bit too and looks at stuff like how he denies global warming and has never been elected to any public office. I'm concerned that he doesn't fully understand the job and thinks being president is basically bein a CEO/dictator. Feel free to educate me if I'm way off here...

Opposing or not, it wasn't drivel; I appreciate thoughtful dissent.

It's a shame, I have to quantify my statements like that. This is becoming a safe space for trump supporters and anyone with an opposing view is getting btfo

The question I'd like to table is, to whom and what does he pose such a great threat?

/pol/ had a tread on this, and another thread here on voat copied it. I'm not one for conspiracy theories big ideas that make sense of everything but you may enjoy reading it.

The only people opposing Trump, are Democrats, "establishment" Republicans, and the media.

I haven't been able to find anyone, outside of those ranks, that opposes him (except the odd person, here or there, on VOAT).

The overwhelming majority of the folks I've talked to, are in favor of Trump.

Someone tell me... if the voting public supports him, and he gets to 1,237 delegates and wins the nomination, how can the Republican Party stop him? Will they be 'out of options' at that point, and be forced to get behind him, or is there a way they can try and torpedo him?

Not according to the current rule set which would have had to be rewritten before the primary cycle started, but now would require Trump and Cruz (and Kasich) to sign off on... that said, that is if they follow their own rules.

Theory: This whole Trump thing is being orchestrated to, in fact, incite rioting. Think about it... In 2012 Obama signed the NDRP Executive Order which some believe is another step towards martial law.

When the RNC convenes in July, and they push Trump out, which they say they can do you will have a huge uprising of Trump supporters, many of which are CCW gun owners, which will be pitted against the Black Lives Matter and MoveOn.Org protesters, and there will be shooting in the streets.

Obama will invoke the NDRP Executive Order, and immediately sign a gun ban order and start confiscating guns. And Abracadabra, gun control is completed, and Hilary wins by default.

Do you not realize that Hillary has the full backing of the DNC and it is her life-long dream to be the first woman President?

"Democracy Spring"

Trump is a threat to the status quo because he has no history of formal involvement with or participitation in the established political structure. These people are hierarchical creatures and if you violate their social structure they will chimp out. All geopolitical plans are in jeopardy if someone outside the club takes control of the U.S.

I doubt they are going to want to defer their plans by 4-8 years - the strategic landscape is at a crucial point - so expect every single stop to be pulled out, including assassination. Most likely though, will be vote rigging.

I've heard rumors that opposition has been organizing into a decentralized network in case Hillary steals the Presidency.

Why aren't people protesting Hillary? I mean, she has been proven to be the worst choice out there, and people are rioting over Trump's haircut. Is Hillary so wealthy that she is immune to stupid people? I don't think that amount of wealth exists on this Earth.

I always find it hilarious how liberals are 100% for the democratic process until the candidate they don't like is winning/has won. Then it's all about "we need to stop them!" or my personal favorite "the people don't want this"

Obviously the people do want Trump or nobody would be voting for him. What you mean to say is your entitled little whiny bitch ass doesn't want Trump and therefore nobody else's opinion matters.
