If they hurt me by doing me wrong, then I try not to feel hurt by them, and instead hurt for them. It's in the same vein as what Jesus says on the cross, 'Forgive them, for they know not what they do.' He wasn't being hurt by them, He was hurting for them in their wrongdoing.
