I'm honestly fine with it from our end. I think Kap can certainly still be successful starter, but he's been treated so shitty by the team that I don't see anyone being able to give it their all.

I'm hoping for the diva from Baylor.

Really? Kap seems pretty fixable and it'll help just leaving a team that gave up on him and was in disarray. We don't know if Griffin just needs a mental overhaul or if your former coach for (not so much) life broke him health wise to the point the physical gifts are gone.

that's a little nuts (depending on the guaranteed money)

Rumorville has it at $37 million guaranteed. If true I think it's an okay deal for the Texans in that if he's a true franchise QB that's a fair deal, and if he's not they're not throwing away a roster to get him since they weren't making the playoffs without a QB upgrade anyways.

Also good play on Denver's part to not beat the offer since he is still unproven and to do so would significantly hamper their efforts to keep together a defense that won the SB in a year of sub-par QB play.

I've had to argue so often that with the salary cap increasing and the high demand for qbs the current salary floor and ceiling for the position are wrong. So many GMs lose their jobs for failing to find a qb that nowadays you MUST do everything in your power to get a qb, even if you're overpaying osweiler or trading up for rg3.

So many folks were quick to say cousins wasn't worth 20 million. They said the same thing about Bradford getting 18 million. What they fail to understand is that the going rate for quarterbacks has inflated along with the salary cap.

Also, there are so few pure pocket passers that come out of college nowadays. And rules favor passing offenses. Both of these factors have contributed to a drop in supply and increase in demand for qbs, respectively. Thus, Brock osweiler gets 18 million a year.

I think that's his way of saying fuck you to the Broncos for benching him.
