But we have to bend over which takes a very long time when you have long legs.

My answer is exactly what a short person would say if I said "don't want to get a ladder?"

The big difference being, you can use the function of your own body and safely obtain what you want on the lower shelves. A short person would need to get an outside aid, or climb up the shelves, which could ruin the isle for everyone else.
I'm not saying a short person should be able to demand a taller person help them, but I don't think it is comparable.
Then again, I am not tall, so I can't claim to know if bending down is harder for a person of far greater height.

Are you also fat?
[–] CantBuySkills [S] 1 point 1 point 2 points (+2|-1) ago
No, only as lazy and self righteous as the short person who asked me to get the stuff off of the higher shelf for them.

I do this all the time. 6'8", I'm always grabbing shit for lil 'ol ladies in the grocery store. Then I'll point to something on the second to bottom row, and they can get it without bending over or whatver. Saves me back.

I'm a pretty short guy and I've got to say that if some big tall dude asked me to get something from the bottom shelf for them not only would I get it for them I'd think it was pretty funny.
