I'm more of a Baja 500 or 1000 guy than a NASCAR guy.

Speaking generally races are different so is simply acknowledging that racist?
And now you know why you shouldn't take anyone claiming "racism" seriously.

I don't think you can get much more succinct than: judging someone by the color of their skin rather than by the content of their character.

Average negro IQ is 70, average white IQ is 100, average Asian IQ is 105. It certainly doesn't apply to all members of each race hence the word average, but it is a true and important fact nonetheless.

I don't see anyone as better than anyone else, and I laugh at anyone who does.

Condemning one based off of the actions of the simular. I beleive you should wait until someone is an asshole, before you call them an asshole.
Now, phrases like "Asians drive slow." Is a grey area racism and heavily dependent on it's statistical accuracy. But let's face it, "Asians are statistically more likely to drive slower than the overall average.", is a mouth full. So it's best to just assume, if you don't match the behavior, it's not about you.

I came to a similar conclusion based on the same exact stereotype. My conclusion is this: Saying that Asians are poor drivers is an opinion based on observation. However, saying you must be a poor driver because you are Asian is racist. So the stereotypes aren't racist, it's the actions resulting from it. "Asians are good students" is another, it's a stereotype rooted in observation, meaning that it is true on some level, but to treat an individual based on the perception of the group is racist. However, to say that stereotypes themselves, which are obviously rooted in some amount of truth, (otherwise they'd be absurd) are racist, defies logic. Look at stereotypes and tell me there isn't a reason they exist. The only act that is prejudiced is judging an individual before they have a chance to disprove that stereotype. Also, aside from truly negative stereotypes, there really isn't anything to be done about them, Asians drive funky, so what? You gonna stop talking to them because they drive slow? No. It's just part of what makes us different and interesting as people. AND I AM GOING TO JOKE ABOUT IT IF I FEEL LIKE IT. Joking about racial differences is not racist, it's only funny because it is obviously not taken seriously. That's why comedians are funny and KKK meetings are dry. It's not funny if you actually think it's true.

Race is the subtle differences between humans, racism is noticing said differences.
Bigotry is the blind hatred of those we perceive as inferior or beneath oneself.
Racism is objectively nuetral whereas bigotry is pathetic and small minded. But thats like, my opinion man...

Positive, preferential, or negative treatment given to one determined by race.

I guess the follow up is, is this always a bad thing?

Depends on the environment of the race you're discussing. Most of the differences in race (don't know if all) can be explained by how the kids are raised.
