Speaking generally races are different so is simply acknowledging that racist?

If you don't see that difference as making the race that possesses it globally superior (or inferior) to another one, than no, you're not a racist. Not according to me, and not according to that dictionary definition.

Also, although differences do exist between races, they are general tendencies, not absolute defining characteristics. For example, in general, black people (mostly those living in America) have stronger physical abilities than white people, but that doesn't mean any black person is necessarily stronger than any white person, it's only an average.

The same can be said about other factors, like sex, education, wealth, place where they live (country, region, city, urban area or rural area), etc.

But there ARE differences between races, acknowledging them isn't racist. It's the thinking or treatment of a group as inferior because of said differences that's racist.
