I can only think these people are a product of the "let's give everyone a trophy". Standards exist for a reason in ALL areas of life. Speed limits, tax rates, grading scales...hell, temperature and time...they all exist to shape REALITY. Let' say one of these beasts were selling a car, for $3000 and you offer $250 because you don't FEEL it's worth $3000. They should accept that as reality! Because numbers don't matter!

How can they even think like this? I'm 5'7" and start to feel gross if I get upwards of 120.

I guess 195 dont look like much when everyone around them are 400.

It's like a really disturbing circle jerk. They're all going on about how the numbers don't matter as long as you 'feel healthy.' That's not how it works.

"My sister weighs 240 and is 5'3".... as long as the doctor doesn't say you're overweight and you're healthy, you're good." WHAT. That comment definitely raised my eyebrows.

Yeah I was surprised at that comment though I shouldn't be. What doctor says being that weight is healthy and not overweight?

Technically, "if the doctor doesn't straight up tell them they're overweight"...I think that's the loophole here. Silly doctor, assuming a 5'4" woman that weighs 190 lbs is fully aware that's she's overweight and so, does not bother to point out the obvious!

"The number on the scale doesn't matter as long as you feel good"

Yes, yes the number does matter. And since when did a fat fuck feel good? I mean actual good, not "zomg muh kurvzzz" good.

That's one of the things that's most disgusting about them. Because you're right, they don't feel good. The best they can ever feel is what someone would feel with an entire human mass hooked up to them as life support. I'm sure most of us have had experiences where we were injured or sick and STILL outperforming fats. I know I've been on crutches and still found myself fuming at how slow they are. Their normal is lower than the absolute worst we'll ever feel. They've never "felt good" in their entire sad excuse for a life.

It'd be sad if it wasn't so rage inducing. It's perhaps pitiable in kids who are raised fat and don't have the faculties to really understand life yet. But as adults? They have the wherewithal to just look around and see how much of a human sloth they are. How everyone else can do more than them. How much they're just throwing away the gift of health, the most precious thing any of us have. How can anyone with even half a brain see how limited they are and not make the connections to realize that they probably feel terrible in comparison? Or even just that the human body might not be really set up to support an extra human being's worth of tissue. It's just mind boggling to see people not grasping that, say, a heart that evolved to support a 100lb person might not be doing so good trying to keep up with being in a 200lb body.
