Please tell me this was on the fat people subforum?
[–] Laserchalk 0 points 13 points 13 points (+13|-0) ago
As far as I'm concerned you read it correctly.

"I'm having a regular food coma"
What do you mean regular? You're telling me this bitch eats so fucking much that every time she's done she's comatose and absent-minded?
Hey piggie, you're not supposed to feel like that after eating, like ever. Even less to the point of it becoming regular.
[–] Bureaucrat_36 0 points 11 points 11 points (+11|-0) ago
No shit, if you regularly eat to the point of being near comatose - and are in such a visible state of physical distress because of it that people are alarmed - that's a fucking sign that you have a problem. And you probably do need insulin if you can't stop stuffing your face to the point of blood sugar overload.
And on top of this behavior being nasty and gluttonous, can you imagine behaving like this at a work lunch? Like, eating yourself into a diabetic coma in front of your coworkers is something you really want to be doing? God, I know these animals don't have the capacity for human thought, but one hopes that some whisper of past humanity goes through their minds when it comes to not sabatoging their careers by porking out in public.

My friend used to get a "regular food coma" before she was diagnosed with diabetes.
[–] legendaryshitlord 0 points 14 points 14 points (+14|-0) ago
Yeah, it's called un-diagnosed.
[–] Teenageshitland 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
Not that many shitlords would mind if a fatty never took their insulin...
[–] ChicagoSunroof 1 point 63 points 64 points (+64|-1) ago
what's a "regular food coma". I've never had one, and I have No Idea.
[–] idontgetbacon 1 point 22 points 23 points (+23|-1) ago
You know on Thanksgiving where you get to that happy-full place and start to feel sleepy? Well, imagine having another plate or two on top of that. That's what I imagine a food coma to be.
[–] Swole_is_life 0 points 43 points 43 points (+43|-0) ago
Right, on thanksgiving. It's something you do once a year. Not twice a day.
[–] ChicagoSunroof 0 points 6 points 6 points (+6|-0) ago
I don't know! I've never eaten like that! I'm not a pig.

After lots and lots of sushi I've managed it... note only with sushi, and I'm pretty sure it was my body trying to shut down while it processed the enormous amount of food I put into it.
Few hours later went for a group run, belched whitefish and wasabi the entire time. Would not repeat this experience.

Its when you have diabetes but dont know it yet.
[–] treepunchingprincess 0 points 4 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago
It's when one's insulin is driving blood glucose levels rapidly down as the glucose is moved into storage. i.e. Fat ate too much (again) and her beta cells are freaking out.
