I think I read on here that petite in clothing tends to refer to height. So, petite plus maybe means short AND fat. I don't know why they didn't just go with "spherical"...

I suppose "short and fat" doesn't have as appealing a ring to it as "petite plus".

"Beach ball" might be good.

If they're too fat for petites, don't wear petites ffs. It does go by height, but they're so fat anyway that they will stretch the fabric sideways until it is the right height.

Clothes shopping is bad enough with vanity sizing, fatties need to fuck off before they ruin the definition of petite as well.

Thank you! This is exactly how I feel. Stay in your plus size pig pens fatties

They already have. Most stores that carry/carried petite sizes for actual petite women now heavily overstock for short and fat, so for actual petite people nothing fits. All the waists are "slimming" types that don't actually fit around the waist of actual petites. Or they say curvy on it because it accommodates bloated dough butts, and thunder thighs. It makes shopping a nightmare if you are actually petite.

They're shrimp in height, but jumbo in width.

All of my wut. When I think of petite, I think of my mom who is 5'1 and (I think) 110lbs. She's so small, I could just pick her up and carry her everywhere. She has to shop in the 'petite' section of stores because everything is too long for her otherwise. What the fuck is petite plus?!

It's the same as petite plus about 80 lbs. Petite plus.

Why are fats still trying to to change every word? They already ruined curvy for the hourglass ladies.

They've have had a nonstop onslaught for the word "beautiful" for sometime now.

Oh god it's the worst. Go to a curvy sub and it's just mountains of women. Littoral mountain shaped women. Sad.

If you're 5'2" and 200 lbs you're a fucking sphere. I'm 5'1" and 100 lbs. I'm right there with you in the petite department. And it's fucking hard enough as it is to find clothes that don't look like I pinched them from my mother's closet, in more ways than one.

I have one pair of jeans (that I actually got from the little girl's section of a store) that does not do the baggy ankle thing. And one pair of yoga pants. Everything else, baggy ankle fabric for days

My mom was a seamstress back in the day. She taught me how to hem pants when I was 12. It works for straight leg and boot cuts nicely.
