Thanks for the link but I didn't see if it specified that these female volunteers had met the physical requirements for infantry. If they didn't, that would help explain it.
Another thing is the comparisons of strength and speed...it isn't so much who's better, but if everyone polled was adequate to perform their job. For example, I draft quickly, insanely quickly, but that doesn't make me more capable or better than a slower drafter because that kind of speed is not required for the job, you know? So if someone can run their 3 mile PFT in 15 minutes, that's great but when are you going to run in PT gear in combat? :3
