I was gonna ask what was brutalist architecture, but then I read you couldn't be able to explain it, so I searched it and now I know it exists, but I still don't know if I love it or hate it. Give me 12 hours.

Edit. TIL my country has a lot of brutalist architecture (https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d8/FACES.jpg)

Love it. It gives an aura of power and authority to the building. I went to a awesomely design burtalist CC for a couple of semesters. It was like going to a cold war bunker hidden on top of a wooded hill. Plus it makes life feel like a sci fi flim.

I like some of it. When it borders on Deconstructivist it is too 'busy' for me. The more Minimalist, pavilion-like, designs have more of a sense of serenity for me. I think the potential beauty of simple materials like concrete is often overlooked.
