Good btw? I wasn't sure how to do a PU other than this: http://imgh.us/gaea_political_7.svg

Yeah, the slashed line is good. If you want future reference for Chloran lands within the PU, just use this.
P.S. If this time skip suggestion is accepted, there will be a lot of new Fulcrid cities. Hope that being the only one doing the map isn't too much work though.

I think people are ok to play fast and loose with their own time skips as necessary. I myself have used a couple and am beginning an arc right now that the time skip would get in the way of.

Ohmigod. A justification for a space program appearing out of nowhere and the jihad succeeding? Yes pls

Nope, I'd say anything that happens during the time skip would have to be begun beforehand and reasonable in that time. And also can't include new interactions with anyone.

Don't think it's a great time for such a thing. Not for me, at least - I kind of have some hands in some pies right now. And it's very unlikely to be a good time for everyone at once, I think, so it's been basically individual imperative how much time passes for any given set of players. Wibbly, but it works, I think.

I think it would be more fitting if we did it at a specific time, like wednesday or something. That way everyone could prepare their story arc for it.

Yeah. I just want the time skip to occur so that the races could experience significant growth without having to play for weeks and weeks at a time. Should probably talk to arbiters about it.
@NobleParadox @silvester @Cutsprocket , how about a scheduled time skip? Like, a day could be set in which the in-game time could advance ten years, with no major events happening during this time.

I don't really feel that we need a time skip. If there is to be one, there needs to be rules, restrictions, limitations on the advancements. 10 years is a long time to develop, I hope you understand. We need to set a guideline for how much each civ grows and how much they advance technologically. This is to ensure that most of the post-jump posts can be approved, and not rejected due to being too stupidly overpowered.
A second point is the question of what a major event is. Is a technological advancement major? How about the founding of a city? Do you mean specifically wars and stuff like that,
One last thing, while 10 years is fine for a civilization, it is much too long for mortal heroes. Who knows what Mar'dy's been up to in 10 years. I think making a 10 year leap would be fine if these hero characters were not involved.
For the time being, a nae from me.
