This title is very MUCH editorialized.
Edit: Also the article is in general, predicting this is some sign of things to come without anything but fantastical language. These aren't facts, they're the same regurgitated points the doomsday obsessed make in reference to anything. The fact this was upvoted so heavily and defended here on Voat leads me to believe the community has very low standards. Look in the archive of this site to see more signs of imminent collapse that never happened. If the people running this site had any real knowledge of the things they write about they would at least be able to afford a website that isn't complete shit that relies on ads of Jewish conspiracy books to stay afloat.

If I want to criticize terrible news sources I will, don't care about "narrative" or whether some random person on the internet thinks im a "shill," whatever that means.
If you have no problem with people online writing anything they feel like and calling it legitimate journalism then that's not my problem but I'm gonna rip on it either way.

28 voats isn't indicative of what "people desire." If I want to say these protests are a sign of Jesus' second coming it's just as legitimate as the end of times conspiracy stuff on this site, there'a a million things that could be just as true if the bar is that low for evidence. Still hasn't happened, and look at Baltimore now, as usual the "start of something MUCH bigger" is a lie and it's unfortunate 28 people on voat bought into the clickbait title and drove traffic to this terrible site.

"The start of something MUCH bigger"
OH GOD PLEASE LET IT BE RACE WAR.

Hahaha having seen your less than tasteful view on black people yesterday I can only assume you're a white American. You might well cheer for a race war now but they've got more guns, more numbers willing to fight and less to lose. I kinda hope you get your wish so that they can wipe out some of you bigots.

uhm, It was actually my tasteful view on yids, idiot.

It was an interesting article that brought all the relevant videos and photos into one place, but really? We're linking to a website called "The Economic Collapse Blog" with ads up and down the sides for doomsday prepping and gathering the tribes of Israel?
We're better than that. Surely there's another source out there that does the job better.

As opposed to what sites? Those run by the corporate media that continues to this day to lie about WMDs? As opposed to Koch brothers funded sites spamming the web? Based on the "source" standards I've seen, this one's just as credible as most of them.
At least this "doomsday" site has its own perspective on doomsday -- and not the same Koch brothers/ Bank of America media perspective. They all sing in unison.

"One prominent Democrat claims that those committing the violence were “mainly from out of town“, but how would he know that?"
speaking seriously though, the article is informative, but is quick to focus on the downsides and violence of it. this is happening too often to call it rowdiness and pass it off. this is the response people have been cornered into, and that is a serious problem.

My thoughts exactly. When people feel like they're not in control of their future and are being ignored it is a natural human response to want to lash out and try to make themselves be heard. This will only continue to escalate until something changes. Writing it off as violent thugs and opportunists is foolish and intentionally dishonest. The US media seem unwilling to acknowledge that there is very serious discontent brewing.

Writing it off as violent thugs and opportunists is foolish and intentionally dishonest.
Precisely. This is intentionally dishonest because if they were truthful:
"Baltimore has had it up to here with crony politics and corruption upon most high and have taken to the streets to voice their concerns. Any red-blooded American is requested to act in kind - leave your jobs, leave your TVs, leave your status quo, and start the new paradigm - it begins with YOU!"

Good. Maybe we can shake some fucking sense into people and shine some light on the cancer infecting our country.
Oh wait, nope, we'll just focus on the fact that they're destroying property instead of asking ourselves what might have lead them to the point that they feel the need to riot, thereby removing all legitimacy from their grievances.
Because hey, the media keeps telling me it's just a bunch of niggers rioting for no real reason so that must be true and there's no need to look into it any further or ask any questions, like how a young man went from being well enough to run away from police to having his head almost detached from his spine and several shattered vertebrae all while in police custody even though they themselves have said he was arrested "with no force or incident."
Nope, this is gonna be another Rodney King. The people on the outside don't give a shit because all they see is the reaction and that's all they care about. Let's not talk about the rise in police brutality, let's just talk about how people are acting like wild animals because they have been pushed into a corner and left with no real options.
