You could always just ask people at the front desk where you go for ideas? Just tell them you would like somewhere that has a squat rack. Even show them a picture or something. I know sometimes hotels have full gyms, but you have to pay to access them (my brother had this happen in Chicago, but it was $10/week and he gladly paid). Maybe if your hotel doesn't have it, another hotel near by might? Even try a local high school/college. It might be weird, but just be really nice and tell them you're new to the area. It usually works wonders with people - whenever I've been somewhere, everyone always wants you to "like" where they live.

Just phrase it like that.

"I've been here a few days now, and wow XY & Z are really great, but there seems to be only one thing I can't seem to find to make this truly feel like a home away from home."

they'll be sitting on the edge of their seat bursting to try to help at this point

Then when they ask, just tell them. If you need it daily, of twice a week, just tell them how often you need to get to one, and they'll help. Tell them it helps you sleep or whatever if they don't get the "need" to work out.

(I didn't put need in quotes because it's not real, but because of people don't know how shitty it is to skip a workout, they just won't get it. I don't feel like that until day 2-3 without working out)

Those are some really good ideas, thank you!
