Postal agents gave away the military secrets! They're brown pants only hide lies and thighs! We most likely won't be able to attend the event as we'll be busy with the Capitol.

Sounds a lot like when I was a door to door salesman, apart from the fact that I worked 70 hour weeks, made $30 in 2 weeks and then quit cos fuck that shit.

Thanks! I've been wondering how it's been going. What's your uniform like? Material?

For your first 90 days, you don't really get one. You can go to the Union hall and get used stuff from guys who've retired. Which I did. I got three shirts and a wind breaker jacket. Until that 90 day. You wear your own street stuff. Well, you get a Satchel. Supposed to be a new one, but right now I'm using someone elses. And after that you get a clothing allowance of $420. But the official stuff is pricey. And after that 90, you have to wear official stuff. So right now I wear a shirt I got from the hall (all three were new) from the hall and a jacket, and my own jeans. But I look like a mailman at least.

I enjoy it a lot. It's a lot more work than most see on the outside. It's not strolling along putting letters in boxes. It's a power walk for 8~10 hours. And you're organizing your letters and stuff while you're doing that. But I enjoy it over all. I have been lucky, this weeks weather has been super.

And I screwed up my knee Friday. At least I think it was those damn gopher tunnels. Step on one and it collapses. Saturday was hell once I started. I woke up ok. But once I started carrying, my knee started speaking up. And I had to power through that day on a messed up knee. It's a bit better today. I'll stay off of it most of today, so I should be good tomorrow.

But I enjoy it over all. I sat in a data center for the 14 years before that. So it's a nice change of pace.
