Funny how the "Right Wing nut jobs" grew a site based on "no censorship" that is intelligent, supportive, and far more accepting of opinions from people of every background than the Orwellian atmosphere of the fear-mongering dictatorship of Reddit and its supporters.
The bleeding heart liberals seem to be the ones censoring opinions by deleting posts containing unpopular opinions, or content that does not adhere to their view of what the masses should be allowed to know.
If intelligent, open, mature discussion without the constant noise of irritating imbecilic entitled close-minded pricks is what the "Right Wing" engenders, then I don't see the problem with the label!

When I took an online political quiz, I discovered that I was actually 87% compatible with the labour party. I would say that this hardly makes me a right winger.

Never been called a right winger, it would be a new experience.... Liberal commy hippie pervert is printed on my tie dyed Rastafarian cap, but I only proudly agree with four of those.

I'm very much a centrist, but I generally believe that voat shouldn't be defined by the political preferences of the people that use it. I think it's very reactionary to try to make voat the "right-wing reddit," when that's just as bad as reddit's occasionally over-the-top allegiance to left-wing thinking. If anything, voat should just be a place to rejects extremism at all and advocates instead of a middle path.

I'm right wing, and proudly so; not extreme right wing mind you. Europe as a whole is moving towards the right lately as nationalism is on the rise and people look to firmer leaders to deal with the refugee crisis.
