come on bro, that is exactly what you imagine when you picture a brit

Exactly. Send her back, and make sure they know she left.

As she was jailed, members of her family shouted that the hearing was a farce.
It sure was. 4 years and two run concurrently? Shut the fuck up and be happy your daughter is gonna get out to see the kid she nearly turned over to ISIS, you ungrateful little shits.
[–] JerseyWabbit 0 points 3 points 3 points (+3|-0) ago
Yes, that stuck out at me too. They should be damn grateful she's even allowed back in the country.

And when she gets out, she will probably become a suicide bomber in a bus filled with school kids or something like that. You don't treat this forced diversity with false tolerance. You have to change the laws of the land to deal with those who are not of your land.

Too bad we don't execute people for treason any more.
At least tell me she is going to lose access to her son?
[–] Earthaware 11 points 1 point 12 points (+12|-11) ago
Would executing her really solve anything.
Obviously she feels desperate, as do many in GB today. Whether its cuts to education while taxes rise, or wages falling while inflation increases....to the more extreme....Giving UK taxdollars to Saudi Arabia while they execute secularists and moderates, or giving UK taxdollars/weapons to Islamists fighting against assad, People feel like they need to fight.
Would you sympathize with her more had she taken up arms against politicians that have been bilking the people of billions of dollars while they spend lavishly on parties and vacations? Would you have supported her had she flown to Saudi Arabia or Turkey and blown herself up killing some genocidal politicians in the process?

You might be what's wrong with the world today.
[–] fagnig 0 points 1 point 1 point (+1|-0) ago
I dont think sympathy should be a major feeling here, the major concern is that she can be deradicalized in 6 years, or however long til parole board frees her.
[–] Iraqboursepetrodolar 1 point 12 points 13 points (+13|-1) ago
Might be a good idea to punish, or hell go slaughter the politicians that have been arming ISIS, like those arms industry lobbyists in the UK/US/France/Germany....I mean why not stop the terrorism at the source instead of going after the symptom????
If you're going to label someone a traitor you damn well better focus the money hungry thieving politicians/lobbyists/arms peddlers in Downstreet/DC/Paris/Berlin!
[–] Kleyno 0 points 7 points 7 points (+7|-0) ago
Why not both? We can label and therefore punish the politicians and the recruits as traitors. Doesn't have to be one or the other.
[–] YoungerX [S] 4 points 2 points 6 points (+6|-4) ago
Well, you can't keep a child in prison. But I'd bet she will have access once she gets out, which will be around 3 years I'd guess.
[–] demi_god_dylan 1 point 2 points 3 points (+3|-1) ago
No idea why you'r getting downvotes you are absolutely right, there is no chance in hell she is serving a full 6 years.
