In terms of being able to program, self-learn, and validate the finer permutations of go or baduk was one of the bigger hobbies for computer science research labs.

This is personally as big as Watson on jeopardy or the development of Big Blue for chess.
In terms of being able to program, self-learn, and validate the finer permutations of go or baduk was one of the bigger hobbies for computer science research labs.
This is just one paper in previous years as to why go is an interesting problem.
I really can't contain how excited I am for this announcement.
