Whether or not it is "justified" is not even in the equation. You can not legislate morality. Whether consciously or unconsciously, people will have prejudices, and people who are exposed to massive amounts of black crime will have a natural prejudice towards blacks.

yes, of course prejudice is logical, no one's arguing that. it's also logical to want to murder someone who you perceive has harmed you. that's not the point.
Right, the problems in this country exist not because one group doing a lion's share of rape and murder and other crime but because another group notices it.

The difference is that legislation against murder is possible. You can not legislate against thought.
