Only $19b?

The Healthcare Costs of Obesity

Obesity is one of the biggest drivers of preventable chronic diseases and healthcare costs in the United States. Currently, estimates for these costs range from $147 billion to nearly $210 billion per year.

In addition, obesity is associated with job absenteeism, costing approximately $4.3 billion annually and with lower productivity while at work, costing employers $506 per obese worker per year.

I always say obesity is job security for me. I really wish the problem was smaller. It really is the beast in the room.

We need to create some super trade deal that removes tariffs with 3rd world countries. Its the only way to fix the economy.

I won't have social security. Which I have been paying into my whole working life. So fuck you sir, fuck you.

This is what pisses me off about anybody claiming that Social Security is a major reason!

Social Security is a ponzi scheme. The ones living off the system now are being supported by the ones paying into the system. Unfortunately, its not everyones money that paid into it their entire working lives that they're living off of. It's the money that is being taken out of my and every other worker's check right now that is keeping that system alive. I wish I could have that money to put into a retirement plan for myself because I can't imagine this system will still be around when I'm eligible.

They should give us an opportunity to opt out of social security. That way I could actually save it myself and use it later, instead of never getting to use it later.

Going up 750,000 dollars per second!

5.8T federal budget deficit using Generally Accepted Accural Processes.

So its not going away anytime soon.
