You can't make a typo when writing with a pen.

A typo is short for a typographical mistake, which means a mistake that is specific to a typewriter or equivalent (computer hardware keyboard, smartphone virtual keyboard, etc.) that manifests as pressing or tapping the wrong key even though you knew the correct key to press or tap.

What you make when you write with a pen is a spelling mistake. You didn't know how the word was spelled.

So when I wrote "keyboadrs" and transposed two letters that was a spelling mistake?

I know how to spell the word and all the letters are there, just not necessarily in the right order.

Obviously it's not a typo, I wasn't typing. I just wondered if there was a word for typo with a pen?

keyboadrs

If you did that while writing with a pen, you're a very odd person. Such mistakes are very rarely made in pen. Sounds like dyslexia.

It doesn't happen the same with a pen as a keyboard. There's a lot more complex motion going on. On a keyboard it's a very simple motion. More likely to be a mistake in spelling than a mistaken character written down.

My favorite is when I write the next word I'm thinking instead of the word I needed to write. Or if a customer is asking me questions while I'm writing I end up writing something they said. I space out at work a lot.

Or when the next word begins with a letter and you can't stop writing that letter suddenly.
