Which is not only fitting of the demographic but also because the 90's had just so many damn one hit wonders. My addition to the list is Semisonic with their song Singing in my Sleep. It was played on the radio several years ago as a "Hey, bet you won't expect this" type deal.

Jethro Tull and "Aqualung". Their focus on album-oriented songs pretty much guaranteed they would never have another radio hit.
