Salesperson says "I hate kids...I'm in it to sell books."

Hi. I was in the top 10% of my high school class, and when I took the ACT it was like it was in a mysterious language. There were multiple correct answers, phrasing was confusing, and not at all like the phrasing used in the classroom, and this apparently is continuing. I had to keep in mind to pick the answer they wanted rather than the answer that was right, and I got the top ACT score in my class.

The people that make up these questions are really not acquainted with reality at all, it's a disturbing situation. That's one reason why standardized test publishers are redoing all the ACT and SAT test questions. The questions currently have nothing to do with the real world at all.

Look at some of the pics in the article. Look at the grid/array of numbers. Both arrays have the same count and get the same result, but one array is wrong. How can one result be wrong when it has the exact same count as the other one?

Give a 9th grade Common Core test to these administrators, I bet they won't pass.

I've seen and imagined a lot of disturbing things in my time, and the image that appeared in my head upon reading your user name is now one of them.
