So it's silly to break math problems down in order to teach kids the concepts behind why 10 x 10 = 100, or why 9 x 5 = 45. Should we just have them memorizes those times tables instead to prevent them from ever having to understand why 8 x 6 = 48? I think I'm beginning to understand why so many people are against this math course. I forces them to think.
