No way... It'll be hard for another OS to dominate. Android was a gamechanger. And for now, it will be hard for someone to come out with a gamechanging OS

The Ubuntu Phone is making some strives towards becoming a proper OS. But this would take more time. Hopefully it will open up other doors to custom Linux based OS's on mobile phones. But it probably will never overtake the other two OS's.

OnePlusOne? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OnePlus_One

I would not buy a Chinese phone guaranteed to have multiple backdoors. Wich is a shame, they are cheap and often get good reviews.

One plus one. I could have swore they run cyanogen mod. Or something of that nature.

One Plus One runs Android OS and other flavors of it. The software has many builds. There is a Paranoid Android, Replicant, Cynamodgen, etc, etc. I saw a build based off of the Ubuntu phone but haven't seen it in quite a while. Essentially it is an unlocked phone that you are able to do what you want to with it as long as you have the ability to do so.

Think Linux will hop on the mobile game and try to streamline?
