I just want to know if there will be a vent I can hide in with a rocket launcher that dead ends and allows for mutually assured destruction if someone comes into the bathroom stall below me.

Also when do we get the Space Sim part of the game? until that comes along I won't even think of tossing money their way.

It's funny how simple Goldeneye 64 sounds when you sum it up like that :)

I'm not sure about the progress of the game; it seems to be moving pretty slowly. There's nothing wrong with slower development, but I agree with you; I'm not planning on spending any money until the game is stable, released, and /v/gaming has had some time to assess it a bit. It could very well end up being an awesome game, but if so then waiting a bit won't hurt me any.

I think my issue with the release is that they started looking for crowd funding in late 2012 so 3 years ago and no finished product yet I get it takes time.I see crowd funding as a way of pushing a piece of software into a finished product but this is being reworked and expanded greatly based on that funding so they brought in feature creep, the result is that we are seeing funding asked for basically at the start of development instead of when an influx of capital was needed and they keep generating so much press it doesn't just fall out of mind until later on it just hangs there with nothing major being presented to most of the public despite my understanding being that their have enough staff for two facilities to be working on it. I get it being ambitious but there needs to be an end in sight after 3 years some sort of deliver year/quarter being presented for the finished product not just well a few modules of the Space sim game are done so here is some dog-fighting and a FPS. Since fucking when is a FPS component something that the space sim community cared about? It feels like they want to be EVE, Dust 514, and Elite Dangerous all in one game and they want to release with all of the features that those three have at the time that Star Citizen releases despite there being 20ish years of development into those three items (EVE being released in 2003 and consistent updates gives it a fiar chunk of time spent on it).
