If they won't defend the country then they don't deserve to be here.

I suppose that would be offensive to the new US citizen that hate Americans and want to destroy America.

That's bullshit. I still have to register for the fucking draft, and these people don't even have to make a non-binding promise in their Oath?

Obama will make 11+ million illegal leach's citizens very soon. And without doing a Oath of Allegiance.

What? They didn't remove the oath. Did you even read the article or are just spouting off some nonsense because it fits your narrative?

They give people the choice to omit the baring of arms and instead give them the choice to vow to help in a non combat role.

I never said they remove the oath, I said Obama will make 11+ million illegal leach's ( as in illegal imagrants) citizens very soon. And without doing a Oath of Allegiance. How did you think I said they remove the oath ?

Here's the full text of the oath, for the curious:

"I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God."

There might be some confusion here, we are talking about the oath one takes during the naturalization ceremony, not the other thing commonly known as pledge of allegiance (not sure about the correct terminology here)

edit: fixed the quickly-typed-on-a-mobile post - and replaced 'oath' by 'pledge' - correct name of the other text.

Ahh that makes sense. As a Britfag I was concerned it was some kind of oath all Americans had to swear. I can understand taking an oath to your new country. Thanks for the explanation.
