New family tradition is for everyone to gather at my place (this would be my wife's side of the family ~ 10 other people), and I do all the cooking.
So, on the menu are scrambled eggs, 2 kinds of sausage (one is local made, they've been eating it for ~40 years and it's good), center cut bacon, sawmill gravy, buttermilk biscuits, old fashion grits (bleh, wallpaper paste), and ultimate cinnamon rolls. All made by myself. Plus we have orange marmalade, raspberry jam and pear preserves, again all made from scratch. And then coffee, tea, 3 different kinds of mimosas, juices, and mulled wine.
We normally (the past 2 years) eat about half what I cook, except the cinnamon rolls (which really are the best I've had). All the better as I love every bit of it (other than the grits, still can't fathom why people eat those things ~ but once it sets into a brick, it's trash).

Yes and no. It's named after the Soylent Green of the book, which is quite different than the Soylent Green of the movie. https://vimeo.com/148258876
