The first thing I noticed was how large it was. It seems that you gave your post a lot of thought. That must have taken a bit of time and effort. Well done.
Aside from that, there are some fresh ideas, but they seem to take so much from SD. The voting system you have presented is also much more diverse. Seems like stickers.
The main problem I see with your post is that it is very diminutive (if I am using that correctly) towards voat.
If you refine your post, which I need to do also, and put a more positive spin on it, you may see it gain more traction and become fruitful.
I don't feel that diminutive is the right word, generally it means small... I was more critical of it.
I was not dismissive, I was hostile.
I don't think that criticism needs to be positive, it needs to be critical.
And why shouldn't I be hostile to voat? It has done nothing as of yet to prove it is any better than reddit or digg, it functions in the same way. Claiming to be an alternative to something while not doing things differently seems to be the laziest form of competition.
For me it becomes very similar to what is known as bikeshedding. Arguing on which colour the bikeshed should be, when the bike shed isn't even built.
If Coke and Pepsi tasted alike they would not be alternatives to eachother, they would be alternative labels for eachother. This is what voat is. reddit-lite - all the problems and only one one thousandth of the userbase.

I made a comment that contained a part of that idea, it was generally not well thought of because it fixes too many of voat's problems I guess.
