How much you wanna bet the "no sexism" rule only goes one way?

Just stay in lock step with the 15 year olds and everything will be OK.

From now on, saying that ISIS's culture is backwards will be considered edgy.
ISIS only seems backward because you are analyzing their behavior from a hegemonic position of systemic hetronormative eurocentric privilege. ISIS is certainly not backward; rather, they are simply differently-forward. :) /s
pure gold.
That said I think promoting inclusive environments is really important. I mean in /r/canadapolitics if you "Cross a line" you usually get asked to edit your posts before an out right ban. The problem is most reddit moderators seem to use their ban-hammer to enforce their worldview.

2.3 Editorialising is not acceptable. Editorialising is simply the act of inserting an opinion into a (submission) title. You should, in most cases, use the title on the page you are linking to. However, in the case of YouTube, you may have to be inventive and attempt to create an unpartisan and neutral title if the one the YouTube video uses is clearly partisan and bias.
This is a rule that is all over reddit that drives me nuts. I get the intent, but it's shit. People aren't entitled to a fucking opinion? Other people aren't smart enough to figure out whats an opinion and what isn't, and if that opinion is wrong or not?
It reminds me of the Fairness Doctrine. That's shit because rallying against the fairness doctrine was largely responsible for the early success of the neoconservative party. Repealing the fairness doctrine was, for it's time, like what repealing Obamacare was for the Tea Party. It gave neocons something to rally over, and they did en masse. Then, once it was repealed was when Rush Limbaugh created his radio show to capitalize on it's revocation, and that show is still around to this day.
And the sad part? They're fucking right. It's great that liberals want equal rights for LGBT folks. It's great that they want racial and gender equality. It's great that they want there to not be discrimination based on someone's country of origin. It's great that they don't want there to be widespread holocaust denial. What they're not right in is being so fucking retarded in how they try and enforce it. You can't just go around saying "you can't say that or we will punish you." That's some 1984 horseshit and if that is what the liberals in this country and abroad stand for, count me fucking out. I'd rather suck Limbaugh's dick.

I hate the american definition of liberal, as it makes me confused every time someone writes the freaking word. For more information http://themoderatevoice.com/12121/american-vs-european-liberalism/
If reddit doesnt want editorializing, which i understand, why not just remove the ability to make a title for the post but have the ability to have a little note you click or a small box next to the post with the posters opinion or summary of the article? I guarantee people wouldnt do it so much and they would just use the article title.
Also what the fuck a lot of news articles are editorialized to begin with. Pushing the provider's agenda

As I'm learning as I get older, no politician ever has the truth as their end game. One of the very few things all politicians believe in is Plato's noble lie. Then, once they've started justifying their lies, there is no difference to them between justifying noble lies that may actually benefit the people, and justifying not-so-noble lies that benefit themselves.
As we seem to have learned here on the internet recently, it doesn't take much to turn someone into a politician. Power corrupts, and it doesn't matter how much. President of the United States or moderator of /r/showerthoughts, there is no difference.

Why even keep an account on there for any purpose besides trolling?
