To be fair, developing free & open source is generally not a financially rewarding endeavor, it's largely a charitable act. It turns out if you don't force people to pay, most of them don't. When people aren't rewarded for their work they usually force the issue.

I mean yeah, I suppose that is fair, but no one told any of them that this was a business they should get into, they chose to forge ahead in a difficult market, doesn't mean the best move is to go against what the community wants and believes in, especially when it is that community whose work you rely on.

I still don't understand why my desktop of all things even needs to search the web, we all have browsers, is it all that difficult to open it to search?
