I have one child. She's 24 now and out of the house doing her own thing.
She was always a good kid and never much trouble. It was fun to watch her grow up, discover things, become her own person.
Having said that, I wouldn't go through it again. Even good kids are a lot of work.

Just had my first a few months back. It is so scary, but really not that bad once you figure the little thing out. Mine is at the giggling stage and it makes all those sleepless nights worth it.

If I'm in a loving relationship with someone I truly love, and I'm in the right financial position, okay. One kid would be okay. Maybe two. I don't see the big deal. I'd be careful to lay down my expectations, but not be disappointed if they fuck up, and don't meet that. This is why parents flip out, and get disappointed. They expect their kids to be better than them. Just let that shit roll. It's not your fault if things don't go as planned.

I'm 31 and I want a child desperately with my wife, however, we just aren't financially stable enough to have a child and responsibly take care of them.

27 and neither am I, but I did it. My wife and I will have student loans for the next 10 years. I am not willing to wait that long. I've also heard you're never really ready, so we just dove in.

I want to have children but I think it would be better if my bloodline ended for medical reasons.
So I'll need a wife that's down to adopt.
