I'm glad I turned off automatic updates.

I will never upgrade to 10. I'm on 7 and it won't happen. I have installed Mint and all games I purchase are Linux compatible games. I may miss some older games, but I just cannot participate in this business model.

Actually, older games have a higher likelihood of being successfully emulated or wrapped (WINE) in Linux. You also have access to an endless font of games if you include emulators and DOSBox. It's new games that you're going to miss out on.

That's the se setup I have going on. Malware bytes should just start throwing up a notice every time a scan is done in windows 10 lol

There is a handy little program called gwx control panel which gets rid of the upgrade now ads

I have Win 7. Nothing's come up so far. My computer is over 2 years old though.

I use a pirated version of Win7 Ult 64x and I turned off auto-updates when I installed. Not once have I seen anything about Windows 10. Am I doing something right or something wrong?

EDIT: im serious, did I screw up by not having updates on?

Upgrade to Linux! This will solve all these issues.
